EA Program Participant Dress Code

Participants are expected to dress in such a way that allows for comfortable participation and play, yet does not detract from the success of our mission.  This dress code is not all-inclusive. Any situation not specifically covered herein will be resolved by the administration in accordance with the general intent and purpose of the code.  Any and all attire is up to the discretion of the administration. These standards apply to participation on our campus, as well as our off site activities/events. A member of the administrative team should be contacted for any dress code clarification (if needed) prior to student arrival/participation any given day.

-Clothing must be modest at all times while on our campus and at our group events held off-campus. 

-All clothing must be size appropriate.

-Baggy pants that expose undergarments or private parts are prohibited

-Belts are required when wearing pants that would otherwise sag below the waist line causing private parts or undergarments to be exposed.

-Participants are not permitted to wear “skin tight” bottoms of any material including but not limited to; leggings, jeans, 

 yoga pants, etc. without the accompaniment of a long shirt that extends over the lower undergarment area. 

-Leggings are required to be worn underneath any clothing item mid thigh length or shorter.  

-Neither cropped tops, nor spaghetti strapped tops are permissible forms of clothing for our participants unless accompanied by an undershirt or tank top that covers the extra exposed skin. 

-Garments that provide excessive skin exposure of the back or neck/chest area are not permissible.

-No part of undergarments should be visible at any time

-Garments must be free of controversial slogans and pictures that could be interpreted as implying approval of drugs, alcohol, violence, witchcraft, or sensual conduct.

-Jewelry can be worn; however, no inappropriate wording on bracelets or other accessories will be permissible.

-No pant/wallet hanging chains, studs or spikes may be worn on campus or at our off site events for the sake of student safety.

-Lip, nose, tongue, and face piercings (both exposed and unexposed) are not permitted accessories for our TK- 11th grade participants.

-Elementary grade students are expected to display only their natural hair color.  (The only exception being on any prescribed 

 “crazy hair day”)

-Middle & High School students will be allowed to exercise more leniency with regard to hair color/styles at their parent’s 

 discretion AND pending previous discussions and approval with the administration team.

-Participants are not permitted to wear their hair styled straight up exceeding 2” high above their scalp (as in tall Mohawks) 

 except on prescribed events.

-Participants are  not permitted to showcase controversial shaved images or designs in their scalp/hairline.

-Female participants are not permitted to shave any portion of their scalp/hair for the purpose of aesthetic expression.

-All hooded attire (and head coverings (hats)) must be off participants’ heads at all times while inside the classroom/building.

-Elementary grade participants (TK-5th grade) are not permitted to wear any makeup on campus or at our off site events.

-Middle & High school female participants are permitted to wear any subtle desired make up at their parents discretion providing it 

 does not conflict with the conservative flow of our program.

-Participants  are expected to wear footwear at all times.  Footwear should have adequate support for safety. Sandals and Flip Flops 

 are permitted.  However, closed toe shoes are required for participation in any PE classes.

-NO VISIBLE temporary tattoos, pen/marker drawings on the skin, or body art is permitted on participants while in the classroom.

-Backpacks and accessories are to be chosen using the same guidelines as the rest of our dress code.

-A member of the administrative team should be contacted for any dress code clarification (if needed) prior to student 

  arrival/participation.
