Welcome to
Expectations Academy
Expectations Academy is a TK-12th Grade Private School. Expectations Academy was born in the Fall of 2019 (initially as a learning center), out of the visible need for academic and social support in the homeschool community. In the summer of 2020 Expectations Academy evolved into a private school in consideration of the needs of working families in the community who desire an alternative to the public and charter school systems.
In addition to the private school, we still also offer daily class options (EA Guest Learning Center) to TK-12th grade children that are being home schooled under their parents PSA or an alternate public, charter, or private school overhead. This program option is most commonly used by families desiring to avoid the immunization mandates that have been placed on both public and private school on site attendees, while at the same time enabling their children to participate in a classroom setting for education and enrichment support during their academic day.
Expectations Academy maintains a small intimate setting by capping each grade level at a maximum of 14 students to allow for social distancing and optimal focus for learning. In addition to all core subjects, we offer a large variety of elective course options. We choose not to offer critical race theory, nor gender or sex education classes/instruction to any of our participants.
We are pleased to offer optional “Beatitudes class” opportunities built into each day that incorporate encouragement of a lifestyle indicative of the scriptures as indicated in our statement of faith. These classes transpire during designated times outside of the academic classroom.
We are thrilled with your interest in our program, and look forward to the honor and privilege of partnering with your family in the near future for the purpose of participating in your child’s successful academic journey.
Our School Motto
Look, heed, EXPECT!! (Proverbs 1:5 amp)
We envision our students gaining skill to look (focus and acknowledge) the sources of their help, heed (give careful attention) to the help being offered them, and subsequently expect growth, expect benefits, expect success!
Our Mission Statement
Expectations Academy’s program emphasis is strong academics in our small classroom settings. We believe all students should be afforded a distinct differentiation in time spent on their educational diet while on the premises of an education facility, and time spent participating in topics surrounding the personal beliefs of their instructors and peers. We further believe the spiritual diet in a child’s life should come primarily from their parents and their chosen pastor’s as opposed to the interpretation of their academic instructors. EA’s wonderful staff endeavoring to provide strong academic foundations, come from varied religious backgrounds and convictions. For this reason, we choose to use classroom time solely for the purpose of academic instruction, and only utilize a “faith based” curriculum option for a course if/when we interpret it to be the best available academically for a particular subject in a given grade level.
